The Zenith Chronomaster Sport Skeleton brings a fresh perspective to one of watchmaking’s most iconic chronographs. At its core is the legendary El Primero, first introduced in 1969 and still a benchmark for precision today. Beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5Hz), it allows for accurate measurement down to 1/10th of a second. With this latest release, Zenith takes that heritage and makes it visible, opening up the dial to reveal the movement while keeping the clean, sporty look the Chronomaster collection is known for.
Powering the watch is the El Primero 3600SK calibre, combining high performance with a striking design. Its central chronograph hand completes a full rotation every 10 seconds, making it easy to read tenths of a second directly on the ceramic bezel. The partially transparent sapphire dial showcases key components like the column wheel and horizontal clutch, while Super-LumiNova markers and the signature tri-colour subdials ensure strong legibility. With a 60-hour power reserve, silicon parts for added durability, and a 41mm case finished with brushed and polished surfaces, it strikes a balance between technical watchmaking and everyday usability.
The Chronomaster Sport Skeleton is available in stainless steel or 18-carat rose gold, with several dial and bezel variations to suit different styles. It also introduces the new ZENCLASP™ folding clasp, designed for improved comfort and practicality. The clasp allows for quick, tool-free micro-adjustments directly on the wrist and is built for long-term reliability. Altogether, this release combines Zenith’s heritage of precision with modern design and thoughtful functionality, making it a strong addition to the world of luxury sports chronographs.
