At its center sits a dial of aventurine glass, a material whose centuries-old origins in Venetian glassmaking give it a depth no printed surface can replicate. Suspended within it, countless metallic inclusions catch and scatter light, producing a shifting field that genuinely recalls the night sky rather than merely imitating it.
